This last week, I can see others differences. When you go to the supermarket here, you find a lot of good and fat foods for a cheap prices. There are a incentive to buy fat foods with sales such as "buy 10 / $10". You are induced to buy more than you need, and eat more than you usually eat. It is not common in Brazil. All the  packages here are bigger than it in Brazil, not only for foods, but products to cleaning the house, shampoo and others too. Other interesting thing that it is not common in Brazil is to pay your shopping by yourself! You pass your things and your card and then, it is ready! Incredible! It would never work in Brazil! One good characteristic of the people here is they are very polite, specially the sellers, they are always in a good mood! In the other hand, they closer than Brazilians.
